  • National Library of Greece (link)

The National Library of Greece (NLG) mainly aims to keep track (and copies) of all material published in Greece. Its services are mainly focused to the Greek reader and it also hosts the Greek ISSN/ISBN/OPAC. Hard copies of all ETASR collective volumes can be found in NLG and copies may be requested here.

HEAL stands for "Hellenic Academic Libraries Link" and it is actually a consortium of several Greek academic institutions' libraries. HEAL-Link is a member of the International Coalition of Libraries Consortia, an international organization for the promotion of cooperative efforts between libraries internationally. HEAL-link tracks ETASR as it can be seen in its alphabetic index here.

  • DOAJ - Directory of Open Access Journals (link)

Categorized, searchable links to free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals that meet high quality standards by exercising peer review or editorial quality control. The aim of the Directory of Open Access Journals is to increase the visibility and ease of use of open access scientific and scholarly journals thereby promoting their increased usage and impact.   • Web of Science / Thomson Reuters Master Journal List / Emerging Sources Citation Index  (link)

ETASR was added to Web of Science and to the Thomson Reuters Master Journal List in late 2015. This is still reported in the latest changes/entries pages here and here and also in the printer-friendly page here. However these links are bound to be outdated at some time, since they refer to the latest changes. In general, ETASR can be found in T&R using the search page using ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY & APPLIED SCIENCE RESEARCH and choosing "Full Journal Title" from the drop down menu (click here to go directly to the search result). The entry originates from the Emerging Sources Citation Index. As a new index in the Web of Science™ Core Collection, Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) expands the citation universe and reflects the growing global body of science and scholarly activity. ESCI complements the highly selective indexes by providing earlier visibility for sources under evaluation as part of SCIE, SSCI, and AHCI’s rigorous journal selection process. Inclusion in ESCI provides greater discoverability which leads to measurable citations and more transparency in the selection process.   • ResearchGate (link)

ResearchGate is the professional network for scientists and researchers with more than 6 million members. its mission is to connect researchers and make it easy for them to share and access scientific output, knowledge, and expertise. ETASR is indexed in ResearchGate and has been awarded an Impact Factor of 0.43. You can see ETASR's page in ResearchGate here.

EBSCOhost databases and discovery technologies are the most-used, premium online information resources for tens of thousands of institutions worldwide, representing millions of end-users. ETASR articles are now discoverable on EBSCOhost research databases.

ZENODO builds and operate a simple and innovative service that enables researchers, scientists, EU projects and institutions to share and showcase multidisciplinary research results (data and publications) that are not part of the existing institutional or subject-based repositories of the research communities. ETASR has its own community at Zenodo here

  • Google Scholar

Provides a search of scholarly literature across many disciplines and sources, including theses, books, abstracts and articles. Publish or Perish uses google scholar to find articles, citations, calculate several indexes etc. You can see ETASR indexed in Google Scholar here.

  • Index Copernicus (link)

Index Copernicus (IC) is an online database including scientist profiles, institutions, publications and projects established in 1999 in Poland. The database has several productivity assessment tools which allow tracking the impact of scientific works and publications, individual scientists, or research institutions. In addition to the productivity aspects, the Index Copernicus also offers the traditional abstracting and indexing of scientific publications. ICV value for ETASR (2011): 5.09. WorldCat is the world's largest network of library content and services. WorldCat libraries are dedicated to providing access to their resources on the Web, where most people start their search for information. You can find a post about ETASR in WorldCat here.

  • Journal Table of Contents (Journal TOCs) (link)

Journal Tocs is for anyone who's looking for the latest or most current papers published in the scholarly literature with international coverage. Academics, librarians, students, researchers, and anyone else should find it useful. You can search for ETASR in Journal TOCs here using its full title or ISSN.

  • Open J-Gate (link)

Open J-Gate claimed (back in 2006) that it was an index directory dedicated to the promotion of the Open Access movement for scholarly journals. ETASR was indexed in Open J-Gate here . However, all these links are now dead as the Open J-Gate site went down in 2012 and when a new site came up with the same name (but different address), it provided a subscription based operation. 

BASE is one of the world's most voluminous search engines especially for academic open access web resources, operated by Bielefeld University Library. You can see ETASR indexed in BASE here.

  • Academic Journals Database (link)

Academic Journals Database is a universal index of periodical literature covering basic research from all fields of knowledge. Academic Journals Database contains complete bibliographic citations, precise indexing, and informative abstracts for papers from a wide range of periodicals.   • JournalSeek (link)

Genamics JournalSeek is the largest completely categorized database of freely available journal information available on the internet. You can find ETASR indexed in JournalSeek here.

  • ScienceGate (link)

The aim of Sciencegate is to make scientific literature from the open access segment available free of charge on the internet. n order to achieve this goal, scientific data from over 1,400 universities and open access journals are collected, categorised and refined in the Sciencegate internal database, which currently contains over 26 million data records relating to scientific articles.   • The Journal Database (TJDb) (link)

The Journal Database partners with independent scholarly publishers, societies, associations, and university presses to facilitate the digital dissemination of journals, reference works, books, and proceedings. TJDB also calculates the TJDB impact value. ETASR TJDB IV is 0.13. However, their entry/data keeping seems rather inaccurate (e.g. they claim that  ETASR is based in Albania instead of Greece).   • Access For All (link)

The web-site of a group of professionals from all over Europe that have worked for many years in the field on disability, with focus towards full inclusion of people with disabilities. You can read a post in "Access For All" about ETASR here.

A scientific research tool with over 410 million scientific items indexed that was recently retired. Sicrus allowed researchers to search for not only journal content but also scientists' homepages, courseware, pre-print server material, patents and institutional repository and website information. ETASR was indexed in Scirus until the plug was pulled.

  • SHERPA/ROMEO (link)

SHERPA/ROMEO is a listing service primarily for the use of the academic research community. It refers to journals and describes their basic policies. SHERPA/ROMEO provides a searchable database of publishers’ copyright and selfarchiving policies for pre-prints and post-prints. You can read a post about ETASR in SHERPA/ROMEO here.

MedOANet addresses the necessity for coordinated strategies and policies in Open Access to scientific information in Europe. The project will enhance existing policies, strategies and structures for Open Access and will contribute towards the implementation of new ones in six Mediterranean countries: Greece, Turkey, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal.   • International Society of Universal Research in Sciences - EyeSource (link)

International Society of Universal Research in Sciences (EyeSource) is a scientific body aiming to promote research about facts and dynamics in real world. EyeSource is a non-profit, non-governmental organization with the purpose to provide an electronic platform to academics/researchers to publish their work. Know Journals is an academic and research service providing information about journals of various specializations. It also gives an option to submit the research work to KnowJournals so that  KnowJournal will then submit it to the journal that fits your research parameters. the acceptance and /or rejection policies lies with respective journal's policy only. DRJI provides ready access to education literature to support the use of educational research and information to improve practice in learning, teaching, educational decision-making, and research. Not a very accurate site, they seem to insist that ETASR 's discipline is anthropology. In any case, you can see ETASR indexed in DRJI here.

An Open Access E-Journal Portal of Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU). The Open Access Journals Search Engine (OAJSE) service covers free, full text, quality controlled journals.   • Rock Your Paper (link)

Rock Your Paper is a search platform focusing on OA data. They claim to have search capabilities and exclusive content from universities, libraries and institutions which other regular search engines can't crawl. You can see ETASR indexed in RYP here.

  • Open Access Library (OALib) (link)

OALib is currently hosting links and metadata to more than 2,069,219 open access articles covering a wide range of academic disciplines. You can see ETASR indexed in OALib here.

  • Open Science Directory (link)

The Open Science Directory has been developed by EBSCO and the Hasselt University Library and it aims to create a global search tool for all open access and special programs journal titles, along with direct links to the journals. You can find ETASR indexed in OSD here.

  • ROAD - Directory of Open Access scholarly Resources (link)

ROAD, the Directory of Open Access scholarly Resources, is a service offered by the ISSN International Centre with the support of the Communication and Information Sector of UNESCO. ROAD provides a free access to a subset of the ISSN Register. You can see ETASR indexed in ROAD here.

Citefactor is a service that provides access to quality controlled Open Access Journals. The Directory indexing of journal aims to be comprehensive and cover all open access scientific and scholarly journals that use an appropriate quality control system.   • InfoBase Index (link)

InfoBase Index is a comprehensive, multipurpose database covering scholarly literature. InfoBase Index aggregates all the information available, mostly from open access journals. InfoBase also publishes the IBI Factor. The IBI Factor for ETASR for 2015 is 3.38. 

  • Open Academic Journals Index (link)

Open Academic Journals Index (OAJI) is a full-text database of open-access scientific journals. Its stated mission is put together an international platform for indexing open-access scientific journals. OAJI also publishes the OAJI Impact Factor. ETASR's OAJI IF for 2012 is 0.506. You can see ETASR indexed in OAJI here.

  • Global Impact Factor (link)

Global Impact Factor (GIF) provides a quantitative and qualitative tool for ranking, evaluating and categorizing journals in relation to academic evaluation and excellence. ETASR Global IF for 2012 was 0.345 and for 2013 was 0.432 (see the journals list here).  You can see ETASR indexed in GIF here.

  • International Impact Factor Services (link)

IIFS was founded by 70 different scientists from various countries and disciplines. Its goal is to provide academic database services to researchers that include citation, indexing and analysis of academic journals, books, proceedings etc. ETASR's current IIFS is 1.223. You can see ETASR indexed in IIFS here.

  • Universal Impact Factor (link)

UIF maintains academic database services to researchers, journal editors and publishers. UIF focuses on: citation indexing, citation analysis, and maintains citation databases covering thousands of academic journals. UIF provides a detailed report of individual journals for further improvement. The articles citation database is maintained by UIF's own Knowledge database service. This database also helps researchers to identify which articles have been cited most frequently, who has cited them and to find out the journal's Universal Impact Factor {UIF}. UIF also publishes the annual Journal Feedback Report which lists an overall improvement of journals that it tracks.  ETASR's UIF: 0.2093 (2012) and 0.9506 (2013). The SJIF Journals Master List includes over 18000 journals and publishes an annual report. The SJIF is calculated considering factors such as:  Scientific Quality, Internationalization, Stability, Technical quality, Standards, Editorial Quality and Print and website score.   • General Impact Factor (link)

General Impact Factor (GIF) provides quantitative and qualitative journal ranking. GIF reflects the average number of citations to articles published in journals and any other approved documents.   • TALOS High Voltage Test Station (link)

An open air high voltage test station constructed in Crete, Greece. A research and testing center, aiming to aid network protection & reliability. Relevant research has been published in ETASR and is included in the publication list of the site here.
